The Team

Our team is made up of skilled and compassionate people who are trained peer connectors and volunteers from all walks of life. All of our team are trained to support you through your challenges. They are there to lend a listening ear, offer a safe space, and signpost you toward long-term support services specific to your needs.

Your well-being is important, and at Solace Café, we’re here to remind you that you are never alone.

If you don’t feel like talking, that is okay too… we will give you the space to sit and have some tea.

Our team will wait until you are ready.

Working With Us

Solace Café requires volunteers to support us in delivering our service to the Cork Community.

We provide training for all volunteers to support them in their roles. These roles suit students requiring placement as a component of their studies, people with lived experience of mental health challenges, and those who wish to give back to their community.
